Along Freedom Trail there are three museum sites:
• Old South Meeting House
• Old State House
• Paul Revere House
These three museums have joined together with one discount ticket. For $11.00 for adults and $3.00 for children, you can visit the three museums on the Trail. The individual adult admission tickets to all these same museums regularly costs $13.00.
In addition, if your trip to Boston is in fewer than two weeks, you can buy your tickets once you reach town at either the Old South Meeting House or the Old State House.
Old South Meeting House
310 Washington Street
Boston, Massachusetts
617-482-6439
The Old State House
Corner of State and Washington Streets
Boston, Massachusetts
617-720-1713
For a group of 10 or more, you will need to contact each site for information on how to get a better deal and special service by making a group reservation. If you contact the sites you can also find out about all of their outstanding educational programs offered at group discounts. This is especially nice for student field trip planning.
The Freedom Trail is a 2 ½ mile walk through history. The trail is clearly marked by a red painted line or red bricks set into the sidewalk. The trail:
• Begins at Boston Common
• Meanders through Boston center
• Passes through the North End
• And crosses the Charles River to the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown
Throughout the journey you will see historic homes, monuments, museums, churches, burial grounds, and much more. There is nothing else quite like the Boston Freedom Trail anywhere else in the United States.
